Frequently asked questions
Detail 1
Can I use your photographs?
As a professional photographer, every image I create is a labor of love. It's not just about pressing a button; it's about finding the perfect angle, and the right lighting, and capturing a moment that tells a story. Photography is my passion, but it's also my livelihood (job).
I want to stress that when it comes to using my images for commercial purposes, there's a cost involved. This isn't about being uncooperative; it's about highlighting the true value of my work in commercial applications. Photography isn't free, especially in a professional context, where it involves considerable time, effort, and costs.
I will continue to share my work, but for any commercial use, there will be costs involved. If you're interested in using one of my images for a commercial project, please feel free to reach out and discuss the available options.
3D Printing service
With the increase in prices from places like Shapeways I've recently noticed a growing number of people getting in touch with me to ask if I'll 3D print a model for them. This is just to let a wider audience know that this is a service I'm now happy to provide.
Please be aware that this is just a printing service, not a design service. Although, I will consider design commissions.
So if you have a file that you'd like printing then please get in touch with me via the contact form.
Prices start at £10.
How long will my order take?
I work as quickly as possible, and all models are made to order. It can typically take between 1-2 weeks depending on my workload.
I try to post at least twice a week.
Do you sell your models as ready-to-run models?
I can supply the bodies painted and detailed. But, I do not supply the chassis. If you want to order one of my body kits painted please use the contact form to get in touch.
Do you sell the files or can I download one of your models?
I have no plans for this at this time.
How do I clean and prepare one of your model kits?
Models are supplied cleaned and cured under a UV light and with IPA. Final finishing can be done with a small file or fine sand paper. If any tacky/sticky areas are discovered, then I’d recommend the use of IPA and hot water. To paint the models, I recommend starting with a coat of filler primer before adding any top coat paint.
Can I return my item?
All items are made to order, so can only be returned if faulty. Please contact me if you believe your item is faulty, before returning your item. This does not affect your statutory rights.
